The Midwife Center at Andrews Women’s Hospital

The Midwife Center at Andrews Women’s Hospital provides many services for women including family planning, well-woman gynecology, prescriptions, prenatal care, labor and delivery management, post partum care and counseling in all areas of health maintenance.

We provide care tailored to address every stage of a woman’s life from puberty through menopause.

The certified nurse-midwifes on the allied health professional staff at The Midwife Center work with and under the supervision of board certified obstetrician-gynecologists on the medical staff at Baylor All Saints Medical Center.

A certified nurse-midwife (CNM) is trained as a nurse and a midwife. All of our CNMs have master’s degrees and all are certified by examination through the body recognized by the American College of Nurse Midwifes. They are a primary care provider for normal maternity, newborn and gynecologic care. The CNM’s at on the allied health professional staff at the Midwife Center at Andrews Women’s Hospital hold advanced degrees in nursing and public health.
