Texas Health Care Quality Improvement Award of Excellence

Baylor Medical Center at Irving received a Texas Health Care Quality Improvement Award of Excellence from TMF Health Quality Institute (TMF), the Medicare quality improvement organization for Texas. The award recognizes hospitals that have improved their initial baseline performance on specific national quality measures related to acute myocardial infarction, heart failure, and pneumonia.

American Diabetes Association Recognition
Date Awarded: October 29, 2007
The Baylor Diabetes Education Center at Baylor Medical Center at Irving received American Diabetes Association (ADA) Recognition for another 3 years. Baylor is one of the largest multisite programs in the country. ADA Recognition is necessary for DSMT (diabetes self-management training) reimbursement from Medicare.
