Jennifer Coleman is a member of the senior management team of Baylor Health Care System and supervises the marketing, public relations and consumer affairs activities of this $3.1 billion not-for-profit health care system. Baylor Health Care System owns, leases and is affiliated with 20 acute care and specialty hospitals in North Texas. Coleman has helped maintain the system's number one ranking among consumers for quality, best doctors, and most preferred in Baylor's service areas.

As part of her responsibilities, Coleman oversees Baylor's community benefit activity. In fiscal year 2006, Baylor's community benefit expenditures accounted for nearly 21.3 percent of its net patient revenue, reaching a record $407 million in unreimbursed costs. In addition, she manages the corporate Web site, www.BaylorHealth.com, which most recently won a gold award for Best Design in the health system category as presented by eHealthcare Strategy & Trends, a leading Internet publication.

Coleman is a board member of the Texas Health Institute, a statewide nonpartisan organization based in Austin, Texas, serving as a catalyst for the improvement of health for all Texans. She has a Master of Arts degree from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida.
