Rowland K. Robinson - president of the Baylor Health Care System Foundation. Rowland (Robin) K. Robinson is president of the Baylor Health Care System Foundation, a separately incorporated 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit organization that raises and manages charitable funds to support Baylor Health Care System.

Since the Foundation was established in 1978, its assets have grown from $5 million to its current level of approximately $209 million. The Foundation receives support from 9,000 donors, including individuals, corporations and other foundations, and has provided the system in excess of $200 million to support Baylor's mission.

Before joining Baylor, Robinson served as the president of the 2R Group, a company that provides business advisory services to private companies, their owners and financial institutions that serve the Dallas/Fort Worth region. Prior to leading the 2R Group, Robinson spent 26 years in the banking industry serving in various executive level positions, which culminated with Bank of America in Dallas. In his capacity as president of that institution, he was the corporate voice representing the bank and its 8,000 associates in a wide range of business, civic, community investment and political venues.

Throughout his banking and consulting career, Robinson has played an active role in the Dallas and Fort Worth communities, including serving as chairman of the Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation board of trustees and as a member of the Foundation board of directors.

Currently, Robinson serves on the board of directors for the State Fair of Texas and is a member of the Salesmanship Club of Dallas. He formerly served as chairman of the board at Goodwill Industries in Dallas.

Robinson earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University in 1972. He graduated from the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking in 1980.
