THE HEART HOSPITAL Baylor Plano is a joint venture between Baylor Regional Medical Center at Plano and 86 cardiovascular physicians and surgeons practicing in North Texas. Located on the same campus as Baylor Regional Medical Center at Plano, the full-service heart hospital offers cardiovascular diagnostic, interventional, and surgical capabilities as well as cardiac rehabilitation, wellness, and prevention services in a centralized, accessible location. This five-story facility is Baylor Health Care System's second dedicated heart hospital and the only one of its kind in North Texas.

The hospital is licensed as a general acute care hospital providing inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular care.

Tailored to those with cardiovascular disease, THE HEART HOSPITAL Baylor Plano provides seamless, personalized care, focusing on preventive health care and comprehensive cardiovascular disease management. The hospital's structure has been designed with a unique bow-tie design that keeps decentralized nurses' stations near the guest's suite and uses the curved shape of the hallways to enable caregivers to have a direct sightline to almost every guest suite. The spacious suite design incorporates floor-to-ceiling windows, wood laminate floors, comfortable furniture and a separate living area for family members wishing to stay overnight. Although these amenities create a comfortable environment, every guest suite can be quickly converted into an intensive care environment if necessary.

Additionally, menu items are prepared in compliance with each guest's dietary restrictions. Guests or family members may order from the comfort of their suite. Room service deliveries are made in 45 minutes or less. A third-level outdoor terrace sitting area entices guests and families to enjoy pleasant weather. Utilizing the hospital's wireless environment, guests can easily stay in touch with family, friends and business associates, while the concierge staff on every floor will assist guests with questions about general hospital services or services outside the hospital.
