Baylor All Saints Medical Center at Fort Worth Announces Opening of Simply Mom's

(FORT WORTH, Texas, March 9, 2007) - Baylor All Saints Medical Center at Fort Worth announced today the opening of Simply Mom's, a mother and baby boutique. The boutique is located is on the 3rd floor of Martin Tower in the women's services department and offers services and merchandise devoted to new mothers who choose to breastfeed. Services and merchandise will include:
- Prenatal breastfeeding classes
- Breast pumps for rent
- Breast pumps for purchase
- Breast pump kits, storage bags and other limited products available for sale
"For many mothers, breastfeeding can be a rewarding yet challenging time in their lives," said Becky Hardie, R.N., Director of Women's Services at Baylor All Saints Medical Center at Fort Worth. "We are so excited to be able to offer these services, products and support to mothers in our hospital and community who choose to breastfeed."
When the Paul and Judy Andrews Women's Hospital opens in March 2008, Simply Mom's will move to the new facility and offer expanded services and merchandise. The hours of operation are:
- Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays - 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Wednesdays - 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Saturdays and Sundays - 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
To enroll in breastfeeding classes, contact the education department at 817-922-6298. For questions regarding other services and merchandise call 817-922-1594 during the week and 817-922-7127 on weekends.
The not-for-profit Baylor All Saints Medical Centers serve more than 100,000 people annually through two hospitals, numerous primary care physician centers and practices, a rehabilitation and fitness center, and a variety of medical specialties. Programs of excellence in cardiology, transplantation, neurosciences, oncology and women's services form the heart of the hospitals' services.
