(FORT WORTH, TEXAS – January 21, 2008) – On January 26, Baylor All Saints Medical Center at Fort Worth and Baylor Medical Center at Southwest Fort Worth will sponsor For Women For Life, a special day for women of all ages to focus on their health. This event will be held at Botanic Garden at Fort Worth; 3220 Botanic Garden Blvd; Fort Worth, TX from 7:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. For Women For Life offers a healthy way for women of all ages to begin a new year. Admission is free, but registration is required since seating is limited.

For Women For Life offers free screenings and health presentations, beginning at 7:30 a.m., with physician presentations beginning at 8:00 a.m. The free health assessments include blood pressure, cholesterol, glucose, breast cancer risk assessments, bone density, depression screenings, and body mass index. Participants will be able to visit information booths to learn more about the hospital services, such as cardiovascular, oncology, sports medicine, diabetes education, behavioral health, weight management, radiology, volunteer services and women's services.
Presentations will include: Linda Armstrong Kelly, mother of Lance Armstrong, is our national speaker. She will share the philosophy that helped her meet life's obstacles and overcome them. Her presentation will be at 10:00 a.m.
