The Baylor Geriatrics Center
Did you know that dementia, depression, osteoporosis and urinary incontinence are not necessarily a normal part of aging? Although each of these conditions is common, they may be very treatable. You should not have to live with them just because you are getting older.
At Baylor, we believe seniors with complex or chronic medical problems deserve special treatment. For these seniors, the Baylor Geriatrics Center offers personalized health care.
Memory Loss Clinic
Geriatric psychiatrist, social worker, nurse practitioner, and nurse work as a team to provide evaluation and management for individuals experiencing memory loss as well as care and support for those individuals and their caregivers. The team works with the individual and family members in partnership with their primary care provider to reach goals of care.
Continence Clinic
A geriatrician (M.D.) and nurse practitioner provide comprehensive evaluation of individuals continence status. The goal of this clinic is to approach incontinence as a health problem and not a part of normal aging.
