Heart and Vascular Clinics at Baylor Irving
As a fully interventional heart and vascular program, Baylor Medical Center at Irving wants to help you manage your condition to help you avoid continuing cardiovascular problems. We offer two clinics to help monitor and treat certain conditions to help avoid emergency room visits or more intensive care if possible.
These clinics include:
Anti-Coagulation Clinic - This clinic treats approximately 450 patients each month, many of whom have had valve replacement surgery or experienced blood clots in their legs. The staff helps these patients manage blood thinners and other medications, as well as other health issues.
Congestive Heart Failure Clinic - Patients who have weakened muscles due to heart attack or other cardiac condition visit this clinic once or twice a week as prescribed by their physician to help them with medications and infusions to improve their function and maintain their cardiac health.
