The lives of Tucean Franks, Tucean Webb and Suzanne Webb have all been touched by breast cancer
In 1994, Tucean Webb's daughter was diagnosed with breast cancer. Webb, a Dallas homemaker and civic volunteer, says the news was "such a shock." Her daughter was just 31, and the family had no history of the disease. Four years later- after her daughter's recovery- Webb faced her own diagnosis of breast cancer. "My daughter, Tucean, dealt with her cancer with such courage and optimism," says Webb, now 66. "She was truly an inspiration. We were grateful for genetic testing to help determine the risk for our other daughter, Suzanne."
