Enteryx Procedure
Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas is one of the first hospitals in the Dallas area to perform the Enteryx Procedure. This is a non-surgical, outpatient procedure where Enteryx-a patented liquid polymer is injected into the wall of the lower esophageal sphincter. The Enteryx solidifies into a sponge-like permanent implant to seal off the sphincter between the stomach and esophagus.
