Baylor All Saints Medical Centers comprehensive liver and transplantation service is an extension of the successful transplantation program which was created in 1983 at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. Baylor Dallas has performed more than 2,000 liver transplants and more than 1,400 kidney transplants, with results that exceed national survival standards. The same level of quality and expertise is now available at Baylor All Saints.

The government-directed organization that oversees the national organ allocation system, United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS), approved Baylor All Saints Medical Center to offer comprehensive liver and kidney transplantation services to patients from Fort Worth, as well as those in a regional area west to the Permian Basin, north to Wichita Falls, and south to Waco. With UNOS approval, Baylor All Saints becomes only the second facility in the DallasFort Worth metroplex to provide adult liver transplantation services.
