Baylor All Saints Child Care and Learning Center

All Saints' child-care facility, the first corporate child care center in Tarrant County, Texas, was conceived in 1960 as a recruitment tool to attract nurses to a newly built main hospital. The child care facility was a tremendous success and before long, the number of children needing care outgrew the licensed capacity of the building. A waiting list was needed until 1982 when the building was expanded to its current size. The present facility has 14,400 square feet of space and serves 150 children each day. The building contains 13 classrooms and four playgrounds, and has been accredited by the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs, which is a division of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).

The mission of the Child Care and Learning Center is to provide high-quality child care for children of All Saints' employees and community parents in a developmentally appropriate environment. The center is a recruitment and retention tool for employees of the hospital and is used to enhance employees' productivity and quality of work. Community parents are drawn from surrounding neighborhoods or they work near the center.

Your gift will help the center to maintain age-appropriate play and learning equipment in a safe, nurturing environment.
